We celebrate life! In this church, we try to connect with the things that really matter. You matter. Your ideas, your gifts, your possibilities are all Godâs precious gifts to the world through you. Your background doesnât matter. It doesnât matter to us if you grew up in a church or never set foot in one before. Please know that you are welcome to join in any of the following events, projects or programs. Get to know us and let us have the chance to get to know you. If you have questions, just give the church office a call (508-653-0971).

Faith in Fellowship
Newcomers' Brunch is an informal Sunday afternoon brunch at the pastor's home to welcome those who have been visiting with us. The brunch is a great opportunity for newcomers to get acquainted with each other, with the pastors and other members of the congregation. To find out when the next "Newcomer's Brunch" is scheduled, contact the church office (508-653-0971) or email admin@fcc1651.org. We would love to invite you!
"Conversations" is a two session series for those considering membership or just wanting to learn more about our congregation. New members are received into our fellowship several times each year. Or those preparing to make a decision about membership, "Conversations" offers some orientation to what makes us "congregational," to what we believe and to how we function. These sessions also provide the poortunity to hear from other church members about their experience and aoub that church membership has meant to them both sessions encourage questions and ideas. Some of our best ideas come from newcomers and new members!
Adult Study Groups include adult faith exploration groups and Bible study groups that are regularly offered in 2 to 4 week sessions. Offerings in the past have included "Healing the Purpose of Your Life," "Journey to Behtlehem," "Sixteen Ways to Sprituality," "Empty Chairs: Living with Loss at the Holidays," "Building Community," "Discovering Sabbath" women's retreat.
A Prayer List has been established to receive calls when serious situations present the need for prayerful support. Please call the church office (508-653-0971) or email us at admin@fcc1651.org for information about the Prayer List or to add the name of a loved one or friend whom is in need of the healing power of prayer.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Can you imagine being wrapped in prayers? The Prayer Shawl ministry was created by two Connecticut women as a visible sign of our desire for Godâs healing spirit in our lives. Healing prayers are ãknittedä into the shawls which are given to those during illness, recovery, at times of loss or in times of joy. The shawls are very substantial in size, attractive in design and color, very soft to the touch to convey what words sometimes cannot. Beginner lessons are available if you have never knitted or crocheted before. You can participate either at home or join together with others to create these shawls. For more information, contact the church office (508-653-0971).
